> BEAM CONTROL AND SHAPING
Many applications in laser measurement and laser material processing require an application-adapted intensity distribution of the laser beam, such as a linear or a flat-top intensity profile. Additionally, the trend is moving to flexible beam shaping and therefore, to a dynamic adjustment of the laser beam to the process.
At the blz different refractive and diffractive systems for laser beam shaping are developed that are applicable in a large wavelength range from 193 nm to 10 μm as well as for low and high power densities. Besides laser beam homogenizers the blz also offers multi-spot generators (MSG) in order to increase the capacity by parallel processing when perforating or structuring for example.
For flexible beam shaping, for example light modulators (Spatial Light Modulator – SLM), micro mirror arrays, but also combined systems of different refractive and diffractive micro optics are applied.
For the application with ultra-short pulsed lasers different reflective deflection and imaging systems, such as a trepanning system for producing arbitrary drilling geometries, are developed.
The capability of the lenses is tested and qualified in our laser material processing systems. Thus, customer-specific applications can be tested and optimized.
